Instead of everyone trying to decode all the ballot amendments alone, we’ll divide and conquer. Each guest researches one proposition and gives a short, 1–2 minute presentation on what it’s about, who’s for it, who’s against it, and what you think is best for the people of Texas.
Why your vote in this election actually really matters: Turnout in Texas amendment-and-proposition elections is extremely low — in recent statewide constitutional-amendment votes only about 14 % of registered voters cast ballots. That means when you do vote, your choice carries more weight than in high-turnout elections. So doing a little prep and showing up informed means you’re making a real difference.
