Let’s Change the Way Texas Votes—Starting in San Antonio and Houston

Two major elections. Two growing cities. Hundreds of thousands of young voters who’ve been left behind.

This November, the Texas Voter Project is doubling down—with nonpartisan voter guide campaigns in both San Antonio’s mayoral race and Houston’s special congressional election (TX-18). These are low-turnout elections with high-impact potential—exactly the kind of contests where disinformation thrives and young voters are most likely to be overlooked.

Our solution? Simple, clear, bilingual voter guides mailed directly to voters ages 18–35—no spam, no spin, just the facts about who’s on their ballot and how to vote.

We know this works. Our May field test in San Antonio showed overwhelming support: 92.7% of surveyed recipients said the guide made them feel more informed. Now, with your help, we’ll bring this tool to scale.

Your donation today will help us print and distribute voter guides in both cities and run follow-up surveys to measure impact. Every dollar gets us closer to ensuring that young voters in Texas are informed, engaged, and impossible to ignore.

[Donate now]—because when young Texans have the facts, they show up.

I was feeling very overwhelmed by the large number of mayoral candidates but this was informative, easy to digest, and helped me to narrow down my choices.
